July 3, 2015 The antenna tuned to 92.5 was installed at the Lane Fire Authority station on Territorial Highway in Veneta! Many thanks to Dan and Ben from Ridgeline Broadcast Services for volunteering their time to work in the 99 degree heat high atop the tower. You can listen to the KLCC radio story at:

April 28th, 2015 Many equipment items have been donated, including the equipment rack you see here, that has just been installed at the fire station! Now we just need to fill it with broadcast equipment.

March 21, 2015 All the pieces are in place!!! Please help by supporting KOCF during our Capital Campaign to get the station on the air. As you can see by the thermometer on the Capital Campaign page, we are already a third of the way there. We need to build a basic set-up like the one you see above.

Feb. 20th, 2015 ~ The FCC has approved our application for a minor modification to move the KOCF antenna and transmitter to the Fire Station, so all administrative hurdles have been jumped and now we can start the Great Fundraiser. Please show your support by contributing whatever you are able!

We are so grateful to Chief Ney and the rest of Lane Fire Authority for their generous offer, as well as to the Board members who see the great potential of this project and voted for this motion.

Feb. 2, 2015 ~ The OCF Board of Directors passed a motion to accept the offer from Lane Fire Authority to locate the KOCF radio antenna and transmitter on their new tower at the fire station in Veneta. This is a huge step, and means this project can proceed, while saving a tremendous amount of money in Special Use Permit and tower costs! We are so grateful to Chief Ney and the rest of Lane Fire Authority for their generous offer, as well as to the Board members who see the great potential of this project and voted for this motion.

We can now round up all the necessary equipment and be ready to install everything as soon as we receive approval from the FCC for our “minor amendment” to move the antenna location to this new site.

This development also means that we are finally ready to ask for and accept your donations to get the station on the air! You can use the button below to send us a donation via paypal or credit card. Thank you so much for your support!!!

Your donations to KOCF are tax deductible, as KOCF is part of the Oregon Country Fair which is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.

Dec. 29, 2014 ~ Members of the KOCF Task Force have been canvassing the Fern Ridge area, sharing details about KOCF, and collecting feedback from local residents about your thoughts on having a local radio station. The response has been amazing! People are really excited about the possibilities and have been so supportive. Thank you all so much for sharing your ideas!

Oct. 1, 2014~ KOCF has received a pledge for the donation of an emergency alert system device – a 2,200.00 value. Thank you, Jay!
